Yummy food and great service! Must try the pineapple fried rice. Drinks are awesome too.

I'd never been here before, but when I told my nephew I'd take him out for his birthday, he suggested Vong's and since I love Thai food, I readily agreed. I took a group of four for dinner, and OH. MY. GOD. The SERVICE was amazing. The atmosphere was amazing. BUT THE FOOD - the fact that they don't have a line around the block constantly is a crime. This is the best Thai food I have ever eaten, and I've eaten a good amount of Thai food. I'm just kicking myself that I haven't eaten here before, but trust me, I'm gonna do so a lot more.

They DO offer table service now and the staff are very nice. The place is clean and cute. Service can be a tiny bit slow if they're swamped with takeout orders, but the chicken pho and summer rolls are always very good. Plenty of parking, too. We visit Pittsfield frequently because of family here and Vong's is becoming a staple for us!

We are tough reviewers. Modest Vong has really good food, charming service, huge portions, and pleasant surroundings. The menu was interesting and the portions were so large we took the substantial amount left over home for another meal. The green curry had abundant vegetables and chicken and the mango chicken was delicious although not as spicy as I would have liked. The prices are very reasonable and they are even open on a Sunday. We'll go back - it's the only Thai resturant within 40 miles. We'll make the drive to eat there again.

Good service. Busy on a Friday night. Vegetarian summer rolls fresh with delicious dipping sauce. Drunken noodle tofu generous and well cooked, but one star off because my medium heat was zero.

Food was PHENOMENAL! We dropped in on a whim, and I am so glad we did. They don't do table service due to a staff shortage, but don't let this turn you away. They were still as attentive as possible, and your food comes in takeout containers which proved to be super convenient for taking out leftovers! We got the crab ragoons to start which were fresh and had this creamy curry filling that was unique and delicious. The pad Thai was a big portion and super flavorful, and the Tom yum soup was amazing!! My boyfriend got the beef pad see which was equally as fantastic. I can't recommend this place enough! :)

Great food! We ordered pad thai, tom kar soup, chicken cashew, fried tofu, and chicken satay. All were delicious! Staff were very friendly :)

It says on the signs take-out only but you can actually eat in the restaurant which is nice, it's just not full service. Just order and pay and they actually delivered our food to our table. The food was good. My husband liked his Panag curry. I had a veggie dish with peanut sauce which was okay, the veggies were fresh. I did enjoy the Thai iced tea too! I think I would like to try some other dishes and it's good to know that you can get tofu instead of meat which is nice. Located next to BMC hospital.

I am so grateful for Vongs! It is located across the street from Berkshire Medical Center...and I learned tonight it is a place for comfort food for many connected to the hospital. I had spent most of the day at the hospital with a family member and was in need of dinner and was craving the comfort of a big hot steaming bowl of Pho (noodle soup). I also couldn't resist ordering the summer rolls. The place is no frills. The food is very good and the service is friendly. There is a small bar with maybe 10-12 seats. They have staff shortages like many places so they are doing counter service....order at the counter, and you can either take it out or eat it in. They have about 10 tables for eating in. I sat at the bar since I was by myself. The service is so friendly, and very accommodating. The tv at the bar was on a very annoying show so I asked if if could change the channel and they were more than happy to allow me to choose whatever I wanted. The beef pho was exactly how you would expect it...served with sliced jalapeños, fresh bean sprouts, lime wedges, a side of hoisin and a side of sirractcha and lots of fresh herbs. The broth was so rich and flavorful, and the rice noodles were long and just the right amount. The beef was sliced thin, and cut into smallish pieces which made them easier to eat. The summer rolls were fresh with crunchy veggies and fresh shrimp on the inside and soft rice wrapper on the outside. I still had my hospital visitor tag on, and I noticed two other people in the place also had hospital visitor tags on, and the guy next to me at the bar was a physician who had just got off work, and while I ate I noticed several people in hospital workwear picking up take out. Thank you Vong's for being open on a Sunday night and serving delicious comfort food to the many people connected to the hospital in one way or another.

Stopped by on a whim and was pleasantly surprised at how good my food was. My husband had never had Thai before so it was all new to him. He got the seafood madness & I got the shrimp tempura and mango sticky rice. Yeah!! I love the sticky rice. The shrimp was delicious and the seafood madness had lots of flavor. It was an excellent lunch!
